hey guys

im still not satisfied with my website load time, even after a cdn deploy with amazon its still not acceptable
i checked the demo site and tested it against my own
its basically the same load time, around 4 to 5 seconds which is not acceptable still

this is only on first load

second load gets done super fast because of cache

tested via webpagetest.org
you can also check tools.pingdom.com

10 and 12 seconds are not accurate

I had the same problem. You need to run an IIS warmup script in order to make the first call fast as well.

Could be possible that your webdomain admin works slightly different.

You must close option Count Category
Please go to admin=> Configuration=> Settings => Catalog Setting
"Show the number of distinct products besides each category" you must not check
