PayPal Direct ErrorCode: 10565

Hi,

I'm trying to make payment with Paypal direct (and paypal express too), but an error occured.

LongMessage: The merchant country is not supported. ShortMessage: Merchant country unsupported. ErrorCode: 10565

My paypal account is registered in France and I've created the API Signature as described in hte Paypal Administration console.

Can somebody  help me ?

Hi Fotus, As Paypal would say it "DoDirectPayment API is only for United States merchants currently, that is why you are getting that error message"

WPP is for US merchants only

On the French Paypal website, there is a solution named "Paypal Integral". I tought it was the same as PayPal direct.
Seems I won't be able to use this solution.

Another though read the PaypalAPI doc's, there is some where a line that say something like

The Sandbox environment works in the same way as the live one; you can create a Pro account, but only from one of those three countries US, canada, and UK.

This error you are receiving, are you trying to bill in Rands, if this is the case you can if I recall only bill in a few currencies in the soap box and Live, I think they are AUD, USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, JPY, but in a live system you cna aso on bill is certain currencies, although it will bill your CC in the local currency if you choose..

It this still the case that can only use paypal standard if not in USA?
