BUG: Tier prices do not work when buying a product with different product variant attributes

If you buy, for instance, several pairs of the same shoe (same product variant) but in different sizes the tiered prices are not applied (unless all shoes have the same value for the product variant attributes)

Thanks for reporting. I've just created a work item here. I think this option should be configurable. Let a store owner decide whether we should apply the tier price in this cases

Thank you Andrei. Making it configurable (will it be at product or store level?) doesnt hurt, but I cant find a reason for which the store owner defines a product variant with attributes and sets tier prices and then does not want to apply the tier prices.

Tier prices did not work when buying a product with different product attributes. For example, you could have several shopping cart items of the same products. In this case tier prices did not work. Now you can set 'shoppingcartsettings.grouptierpricesfordistinctshoppingcartitems' setting to 'true' in order to enable the new logic.
