"Powered by nopCommerce" Copyright Removal Notice

Hi,

We spent money purchasing the right to remove the nopCommerce logo, especially to get rid of it from the Facebook Shop Plugin page; but we don't know how to do it.

Right now the nopCommerce logo is so large and dominant you would think nopCommerce is selling the products, not my company.

Can you show us step-by-step how to do it? We are not programmers here.

According to the terms of the nopCommerce license, you may NOT remove or hide the "Powered by nopCommerce" statement that appears at the bottom of each page within nopCommerce shopping cart.

If you have not purchased a valid "Copyright notice removal license" for nopCommerce, the copyright notice at the footer of your store must remain intact, unedited and clearly visible. Please don’t attempt to edit, remove or hide the copyright notice in any way. It does not give you authorization to remove any copyright notices in the script source files nor any other rights. Copyright infringement is illegal - please be advised!

Upon purchase of a "copyright notice removal key" you are permitted to remove the aforementioned proprietary notices. A single key must be used for each store (URL) and may not be used more than once. You may not use a key to remove copyright on unlimited store installs on one website domain.

Already we have copyright removal license for our store www.bluemed.ca in nopCommerce version 1.9 .Now we are  going to upgrade our site with latest nopCommerce version 3.4.Can we use the same removal key license for our upgraded site? We are going host the site in the same domain.Please clarify on this.

I am sure Andrei pitch in to confirm this but as far as I know the copyright removal license is applicable to your domain name (not specific version). You can upgrade your site to latest version with the copyright license key that you bought as long your domain name remains same.

If you plan to launch an another site or a different domain then you will have to buy another license key. But again, if your domain name is same and you are only upgrading, you don't have to buy a new key for that.

Not sure that I got you about separate licenses. Please clarify.

Copyright removal key allows you to remove "powered by nopCommerce" statement that appears at the bottom of each page. Any other "nopCommerce" text or logo can be removed even without copyright removal key. So if you have a valid copyright removal key, you can remove "powered by nopCommerce" text
