Publishing issues with clean install of 3.2 no mods

Error reads:

This is a straight forward install, compile and try to ftp publish the Nop.Web project from VS to a directory on my web server.

if I go to manually rebuild each project in release mode everything compiles except for nop.services and anything else that's dependent on it obviously.

Are the prepare & deploy scripts available for this release?

Not sure about the error, but there are no more deploy scripts in version 3.20 - just publishing the Nop.Web project should work. Hopefully one of the devs can help with the error.

Are your web.config files for the site referencing MVC 4 & Razor 2? If so, change the version numbers to mvc 5 and razor 3 :)

I'm publishing the project compiled in debug just to see it works and will try recompiling in release mode and publish again now that I have reset the security on the local directory and unblocked the file in reference in the error message.

Thanks for the response on the web.config but remember this is a clean install unmodified that I am using for a test from install local to install web production. I am assuming the correct web.config files are being installed in the new 3.2 project. As I saidf in my last post I am pretty sure this is a local security issue and will repost the results once this first publish completes. Thanks Dean

Hi,
Not sure, but I came across some information that using the 'web deployment' is now also possible. That means you can create a profile under Publish... for ftp (I believe), local or even do a full deploy through iis (need IIS setup) directly on the webserver, similar how Azure publishing goes in VS. Do not forget to use 'release' in configuration.

You can best publish first to local dir and see the output. It is possible to setup different profiles:

I had the same issue.  For me, it was a windows 8 problem (windows 7 has the same issue):

Basically, you need to unblock the nugget dll's:
Right click dll, click Properties, click "Unblock".

The post also shows if you do this for the initial ZIP file, you won't have to do it for individual files.

OK after a lot of time getting the project to compile in release mode unblocking all the .dll's and some other issues and then publishing it to the web server at godaddy I ran the project. The first issue was I ran into a security issue error:

Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.ReflectionPermission, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0 failed.

You have to go to your asp.net configuration and give the CAS security policy Full Trust for your code set. Once that was done I ran it again and got to this point and error message:  So now I have to trace this one down. If anyone else has run into this please let me know and save me some time. I have been doing this clean install and publish all day to test this version in a standard development environment.
