Hey Andrei,

I thought of something today that would be pretty awesome to include in 3.3 and I don't see any work item yet for it.
You made some good changes on the menu in 3.2 where we can easily include a category in the top nav/menu.  But often times, we want a mix of categories and topic pages (topic pages other than contact us for example).  We also may want to mix the order up... ie, 1 or 2 categories, followed by some menu items for information(topics), then some lesser important categories.  We can do "a" topic now, but we can't loop through topics and tag which ones to include in the menu, and which ones to skip.
Anyway, what do you think of centralizing control of the menu (new node under catalog in backend) and be able to  include any generic route url (eg. category, topic, product, manufacturer, (and I guess looking at the changesets for today vendors :-) )
We could use a treeview kendo to control the hierarchy and drag available nodes onto the tree to build the menu.  Or, even for a first cut, just some simple dropdowns to make our selections and add.

Thoughts?

Is like to request that nop add support for Azure shared SSL certificates.  Example - site URL http://www.jemcologics.com - Azure shared SSL URL - https://jemcologics.azurewebsites.net.   The issue is that the cart empties when the URL switches.

Thanks for reporting. Looks like the issue is that cookies are not sent when URL (not just HTTP/HTTPS) changes. I've just created a work item

I like JQuery mobile for 320 screen sizes and responsive for iPad mini sized & up. I would think keeping JQuery mobile is a good idea. At least keep it for a couple of versions and then revisit for a phase out approach. Responsive isn't always what we think it should be. The 'one size fits all' responsive smells a lot like the old java write once run everywhere....

Regarding the Paid Membership feature "2.2. Show on a new customer registration page?":

There should be two ways to subscribe:

     1) Upon registration - It should display the Membership Product (single or grouped) configured in the admin Customer Settings (see below)
     2) A Membership Product page (see below)

Membership Product

A Membership Product is a special type of product selected from a product type dropdown within the admin product page. The Membership product type will have two templates: one for grouped membership products and one for a single membership product.

Grouped Membership Product

A Grouped Membership Product can have two or more membership products and should have on option to set the display orientation: vertically (columns) or horizontally (rows).

When a customer purchases a Membership Product simply and automatically assign that customer to the role associated with the membership product giving the customer access to paid content, discounts, etc. In addition, customer's who have not paid beyond a grace period will be removed from the role and lose access to the paid content, discounts, etc associated with the role.

P.S. It would be nice to automatically assign the customer of Role A to Role B after an elapsed duration. :)

Any plans to implement a product customizer/designer?   Alot of people would use it for tshirts, but I would want it for stationery and business cards.

something like this:
http://mshop.productsdesigner.biz/designlab/]http://mshop.productsdesigner.biz/designlab/

Doesnt need to be as complicated, but something where they can select a few images, add some text fields, make basic font changes... etc.

Once purchased, it could generate a pdf for proofing and printing.   It would be very helpful and widely used by the nop community.

(I've finally got some time to look at 3.30 ...  :)
I'm still using VS2012.  When I loaded the solution, it complained about me not having .NET 4.5.1
An article I read said that 4.5.1 is an "an in-place update to .NET Framework 4.5".  Has anyone tried it and can still compile older 3.x without problems?  (I.e. I still need to compile plugins for 3.20 and deploy to where the runtime env is 4.5)

(Is  .NET Framework 4.5.1 Developer Pack the best way to install 4.5.1? )
