Canadian - Help Needed

Hello.

We hired an independent web-designer to design our web-site. He did a great job... however he disappeared.

There are numerous issues with the site we would like addressed.

Some of the issues:

1) How do we publish a new "Topic" after we have saved the edit? After we have saved it and refresh the website in another window it doesn't show the changes.

2) The customer statistics in NOPCommerce crashes

3) On the login page (store front) I do not know how to edit the text inside the box which says:

About login / registration
Put your login / registration information here. You can edit this in the admin site.

4) The images on the homepage we would like just the simple fade in/out. And have it as a higher quality image. As of now it looks like a web-site from the 90's.

5) On the About Us and Site Map pages the menu on the left hand side disappears . We would like it to be like the Conditions of Use and Contact Us.

6) We would like to know how to view the Hit Counter (other than registered users on the dashboard)

7) How do we add Topics under 'Information' on the left hand side? New ones we have made such as 'Our Team' are not displayed after we've created and saved them.
