Ability for customer to carry cart from one multistore to another

Hello developers.

Can you please provide me with a cost estimate for modifying NopCommerce to be able to share shopping carts between different stores within the multi-store environment.

For example, if a customer adds an item to his cart from our first store (store1.com) and then clicks a link to our second store (store2.com) we would like it if that customer can continue to shop in store 2 adding additional items to the cart, and then check out with all the items.
