Suggestion: Signature

I noticed tonight, on my 1st use of signature, any post pulls from whatever signature is current. A post from 5 years ago will have a signature that I put in today. Not an issue, but shouldn't signatures be tied to the actual post, not what is current?

Thanks. But I don't think so. I personally never seen that signatures were tied to posts (on other forum sites)

Sorry, just thought a post is a post in its entirety... name, subject, content and any signature (I'm old... and dumb lol).

I like how the Signature updates in previous posts because it allows current contact information to be displayed in case a user is viewing old threads and needs to reach the poster.
