question - can guest customers get access to downloads ?

I ask because i think in v1.9 that a guest does not have access
(not had a chance to look at this properly)

A guest can checkout then view the order there and then but after, how do they get to the order ?



is this the same in current version ?


If so, maybe we would need to create a rule that you can't checkout as a guest if you are purchasing a downloadable product ?

Yes, they can. Links to download such products included in the order completed email.

ok, yes but if an email is lost, ends up in spam or is deleted for some reason and the customer needs that link again in the future ...

would it be worth adding a

'resend order confirmation'

button to either the order page or in the customers 'orders' tab so that the store owner can easily  address this situation if it arises ?

Hi Hayden,

A store owner can see a queued email ID on the order notes tab. Then he can go to this queued email details page and requeue it.
