I have had a lot of requests to upgrade existing themes I have contributed to 3.40, I have just release the Modern Theme which you can find @ http://www.streamlinedesign.co.uk/modern-theme-for-nopcommerce-3-40/

EDIT: As mentioned above some people have been asking about the Metro UI theme also - I will be updating this as soon as I can.
