Selling PlugIns and kickback fee for the NopCommunity

As I am about to publish my first NopCommerce Plugin as well as my Prestashop to NopCommerce automated migration tool I was wondering what would be a good business model.

I feel that my gain should, at least to a certain extent, be a gain for the NopCommerce development community as well.

So what would be a proper model, donating a percentage of the revenues to Nop? As I am new to the world of open source I am not sure what is expected and what is proper.

The best return you can give is to convert as many people to nopCommerce as you can. Which means that you will need to invest a decent amount of resources into marketing your plugin.
But this ivestment if successful will have returns both to you and nopcommerce.
