Ver 3.30 - Emails stuck in message queue

My automatic emails are being held in the message queue after customer registers on our site  and not releasing.  I was able to click on 'run now' in Scheduled Tasks before but today, it is not working.  The messages are still in the queue.

Any help why it is not releasing?

Check your System > Log for error messages.
Also, in the Configuration > Email accounts, email config page, do a test email.

I did a few test emails and they all went through.  I just viewed the System Error log and the log sates ' no such user here".  A customer sent us a message from our "Contact Us" page and that message was received.

Any other suggestions would be very appreciated.

Check  Content Management > Message templates.  Is the email account on your template using the default account?

My email is set as the default account.  I do get the email confirmation when an order comes in but it is not sending to the customer.

I did a test email from the email account and it say Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: <> No such user here

It was doing it periodically beforeand I could hit run tasks and the emails would be released.  But now, they are not releasing at all.

Any other suggestions?

Hi There

I am running Nopcommerce 3.5 and I'm having the same error.
I have checked mail account and test mail sends mail to mail account without any problems.
I have checked the message templates and everything there too seems to be fine and all items in that list is ticked and active.

Where else may I go look to resolve this problem.

I am having the same issues with the NopCommerce, version 3.6. In my Message Queue Log, I have two messages showing HIGH priority and both "from" and "to" email addresses are OK. But, the messages are simply not going out. One of them is actually is Requeued to see if it would work. I had a message to confirm that the message was requeued successfully but still no messages in my coming mail box.

Need help to solve this issue.

Hi Everyone,

I was the one who initially had this issue and the previous message.  I decided today to review it again!  Here is what I did and was able to get it working.

1.  I created a new password in Configuration\Email Accounts
2.  I changed Schedules Tasks\Run Emails to 20 from 60.
3.  Restart Application

With the previous emails in the email queue had to be re queued but they were all released.

I am using v3.30.

No ... I tried doing what you suggested... but my e-mails are still stuck on outgoing to my customers. Only mails going to my own mail box was delivered.

What else may I try?

Sorry, this worked for me using 3.30.  I used gmail, hotmail, and other email addresses and they all worked.
