PrestaShop 1.5.6 to NopCommerce 3.40 Migration package

PrestaShop 1.5.6 to NopCommerce 3.40 Migrator is now available for download from:

http://www.actopus.com/nl/prestashop-migration-tool

Make sure you download and install the software using Internet Explorer. Chrome of Firefox will not accept the installation and complain.

For testing purposes the application holds a link to our old Prestashop 1.5.6 webshop running at www.prijzensloper.nl. It contains a mere 200 products.

Great job! Is this for migrating database only ? Can you explain bit more?

The migration software migrates the following entities:

Manufacturers
Vendors
Tags
Categories
Products
Urls
LocalizedProperties

It will use the same URLs as Prestashop uses thereby not breaking the Search Engine results.

Prior to the migration it is possible to set (as far as I am aware of) all of the properties used by the entities stated above.

It does not migrate:
taxes (but maps them to your NC taxes)
orders
carts
customers
addresses
statistics
Themes

Since Prestashop needs SSL to allow for the API to be used, I have created a PHP API stub class that overcomes the SSL problem and allows for the prestashop api to be run on normal http.
