The bargains plugin allows you to show products during the checkout process.
The products shown are randomly taken from all of the categories linked to the products in the shoppingcart.
The plugin registers a specification attribute which must be linked to the products elligable for showing in the bargain section.
When no bargain products are found, the plugin simply takes the bargain products from the total list of products.
