I think mysql support for nopCommerce would be awesome. However the cost vs time vs benefit i would for now just stick to MSSQL. You can get hosting with MSSQL for as little as about $40 a year.
No problem, but if you want use nopcommerce as hosting company for your customers - standart licence MSSQL will cost app. $6000-7000. MySQL solution is more powerfull. Let's migrate to mysql :-)
