Upgrade code/Solution

Hi,

We have been developing some custom plugins and theme etc using the 3.40 source code option. I have read the documentation regarding updating, but it only seems to be how to upgrade the deployed site.

Is there a guide on how to upgrade the source code to the latest version?
or do you have to just start again with the 3.50 code and import and reconfigure the custom plugins and themes?

To update source code try following steps
1. Update database step by step to 3.5 , see Upgrading nopCommerce
2.  Download fresh source code  of 3.5
3.  Take Setting.txt from old source code and put it into new source code
4.  Marge your changes from old source code to new source code
5. If you have custom plugin in your old version, create new plugin in  new source code solution and copy functionalities.
