I just received a Cart2Cart newsletter (not sure how I got on their list) that says the following:

Hello there,

Did you know that nearly 50% of nopCommerce users complain about the platform limitations? Have you ever experienced stagnation in online retail because of technical restrictions? If yes, we are ready to give you a hand.

Grab one of the presents and win up to 30% off a full-scale migration from nopCommerce! Move your store automatically to one of the 70 world’s most technically advanced e-Commerce solutions.

Just thought the community would like to know.

Hi,

They might have purchased this data from builtwith.com!

Its kind of negative marketing campaign and their claim is baseless. It is basically a wrong statement done without any research or base! I think nopCommerce should talk to them to stop doing this!

nopCommerce is technically more advanced compared to other e-Commerce solutions, which are either propitiatory or not fully managed in open source spirits. I have worked on number of opensource e-commerce solutions, and nopCommerce is one of the best among them!

So if anyone is looking to check what nopCommerce is capable of doing, please check:

To be honest I wouldn't worry about it too much, as a cart migration specialist they make their money from people switching cart solutions. They don't know or care which is best as long as you're changing and they're getting a slice of the action. A bit like recruitment agencies in a way, they're not really that bothered what job you move to as long as they get their commission on it.

I expect the Magento users are getting similar emails extolling the virtues of OpenCart or maybe even nopCommerce :-)

Hi Krunal,

Thanks. Already done (two weeks ago). We even started the process of partnership to create better integration with nopCommerce (moving to nopCommerce)
