Affiliate Program - some tips?

Hi guys!
i don't understand how affiliate programs works in nopcommerce. Maybe you know where can i read / look something more about it? Some tutorial how configure it? best practices, how count % for partner etc?

1. How can i register new partner?
2. How he can create links? or how he can earn for advertising?

Maybe somebody wrote article about this in nopcommerce?
