Username is not saved when creation a new customer

When creating a new customer in the admin area, the username is not saved in the Customer table - only e-mail address is saved. Username is NULL in the database

There is a setting - UsernamesEnabled - check it is enabled in the menu Configuration >> Settings >> Customer Settings

Thank you marc - I think it might work! I still think the username should be saved in the DB anyway when you create new customers in the admin area. When customers self-register their e-mail is automatically saved as username
