To all of you NopCommerce plugin developers out there -- I'm curious to know whether what I'm trying to achieve is possible.
I run a website which sells codes to unlock electronic tuners in the automotive industry. It is a challenge/response type code process - the user submits a challenge code that comes up on his device, and he pays to receive the response code which is an algorithm of the challenge code.
Right now, it is a manual process. I have the software on my computer, and I e-mail the customer the response code once I run it through the program.
I would like to be able to expedite the process for both myself and the customer.
I have the source code for the generator program, which is written in Visual C#. I would like to be able to create a custom plugin where after the customer pays, the challenge code is fed into the plugin (the challenge code is set up as a product attribute), and have the plugin automatically run the algorithm, and then e-mail the customer with the response code.
If any of you guys think it's doable, then please PM me with a rough estimate of cost. I would hope that it would be fairly easy to implement as the major code is already written and complete - I'm basically looking for someone to add the e-mail capability and have it interface properly with NopCommerce.
