Email queue not sending

Hi there,

The emails in our queue are not being send. When I test the email configuration, it works fine and I receive the email immediately. However in the queue there are a lot of emails which have the status "not send". These are emails that where supposed to send 3 hours ago.

How can I troubleshoot this?

if your test email sending is working good then there is not any issue with email configuration for email accounts

have you check that Send email schedule task is activated ??

go to admin System -> Schedule Tasks

Find task by name "Send emails" check that it marked as Active or not ??

its its not activate then activate it then Don't forget to restart the application to start it working.

Also once check the message queue detail and check which email account its using ??

is it using the correct email account that you configured ??

check the host, you need to go to your hosting host SMTP, which is not the same, as yours mail's provider.[/b]
[b]Go to Admin Panel->Configuration->Email Accounts:
Next Step select your account and edit configuration for this
Email Address: your email
Email display name: your name
Host: relay-hosting.secureserver.net(only Godaddy hosting)
Port: 25
User: your email
Password: your password
SSL(Optional)
Use default credentials(Optional)

You need check only Host, that's the point of problem, Good Luck)))
