Hi,
Going online with a big shop is a long process. Payment gateway, shipping provider, custom invoice, shipping rules, boxes, sale / shipping policy, testing, etc.
To deliver a first version, my client asked me to deploy the site and disable the Buy button for all products. It's better then a static Web site without a catalog.
If I do that, is there a way to add some test products (Buy button enabled) and do our tests without customers (not logged as admin) seeing the products?
- I tested the published property. I can access the product page but I cannot buy it.
- I may use Access Control List Role but I read that disabling the "Ignore ACL rules (sitewide)" my cause some performance issues.
Any suggestion will be welcome.
