I understand how to remove the compare functionality completely but how can we remove this feature from say an individual category(s) or individual product(s)?
I take it that this is another nopC code modification.
Being able to selectively decide which products or categories to have the compare functionality could be useful if certain categories or products are not relevant to be compared.
You can customize nopCommerce source code to add the feature to the admin or you can customize your theme and build a plugin with a grid to choose what products can be used in compare feature.
