Horizontal Slider with Overlays?

Greetings,

We'd like to implement a horizontal product slider which shows a product image and title. When someone mosuses over the product image, we want to see an overlay with a semi-transparent mask, product description, and buttons to add to wishlist, favorits, etc.

Any recommendations on how to accomplish this? Any particular plugins that are popular and well supported? Or themes that may have plugins that support this.

Quick View is indeed very nice and looks very flexible. However, we were hoping to have the info appear as an overlay over the product image, instead of as a popup in a separate window - like this:



Nop-Templates, creators of "Quick View", implements something similar in many of their templates, like this in their "Lighthouse" template:



Does nop-templates include a plugin with their theme that does this? I can't find a plugin they sell that does this. Or if anyone else sells a well-supported plugin that does this. Any other possibilities?
