Over the past months we received a number of questions about, in general, getting products from the Bol.Com platform into a open source shopping cart.
Many online sellers start by selling their products using Bol.Com, which gives them a kickstart in the selling process as Bol.Com has millions of active customers.
However as sellers grow they want to establish their own brand as a brand, in the end, creates value. That's probably why many sellers also want to start their own webshop.
Our new Bol.Com plugin is estimated to be released in june 2017. It will use the latest Bol.Com plaza API V2 and allows customers to import all their products with specifications, images, descriptions and category structure into nopCommerce.
Once imported sellers can use nopCommerce as the core of their selling process and publish stock and price to Bol.Com
The pricing of the Bol.Com product import will be around 300 euro's but an additional license is needed to start updating bol.com from your nopCommerce webshop.
We think that this new plugin gives us access to a whole new group of webshop owner or internet sellers. We also believe that we are the first to have this plugin and since we 'breath' and 'dream' nopCommerce we will only develop it for nopCommerce.
Version 1 will be available for nopCommerce 3.7 and up.
