Does install create stored procs or functions?

I have just started to evaluate nopCommerce. I installed version 2.10 and there are no stored procs or functions in my database. I have read several threads referencing stored procs and am wondering if I need to run a seperate script or something?

nopCommerce 2.00 and 2.10 doesn't use stored procedures. Upcoming nopCommerce 2.20 and above will use stored procedures
