Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your assistance.
I have done a 1.9 install in the past, but I was only using it as testing/learning so I backed up & deleted it to make way for a clean 2.1 install. I cleared everything out of my www.root directory.
I downloaded the no-source-code .rar file, extracted it, and uploaded everything to www.root using ftp. But now when I try to run www.yourstore.com/install/ (with my url in there) the directory doesn't exist!
I tried reinstalling the "install" folder from my old 1.9 backup, but it only tries reinstalling 1.9 when I run it... it doesn't recognize that 2.1 is there.
So what should I do next?
I apologize for being very new and inexperienced, but I can follow simple directions if anyone can help.
