Can I import manufacturers and categories from the export.xml I saved?

Hi there everyone. I would like to know how I can use the xmls from the categories and manufacturers to quickly import this from a previous installation?

I exported two xmls. Categories and manufacturers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. these were from version 2.1
and I need to get to 2.2
