Do I have to run upgrade script for switching over form 2.4-to-2.5

Hi

I have successfully installed photovideo theme with my nopcommerce 2.40 version.
Now I am upgrading to 2.50 version & thinking to use the same photovideo theme. should I have to run the
upgrade "upgrade.sql" script for installing the photovideo theme.
