Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the difference between selecting either option for a product?
Single Product Variant vs Varian in Grid

When would I use one or the other?

Is there a way to change all products to one or another option?

Thanks.

"Single Product Variant" is also when you only one product variant. Only the first one will be displayed.

"Variants in Grid" is used when you have several variants

Hi a.m.

Thanks for the answer.

Could you clarify (with examples) when to use product variants and when to simply use attributes?

Thanks.

In most cases it doesn't matter. Just a matter of preferences.

In what cases you think will matter?

Create two variants when they are distinguished by some properties available only on product variant level. For example, one variant is shippable, and the other one is non shippable
