Inserting Items from SQL database

I'm trying to load my items from the database. I'm using a web service that gives me a list of items. I'm not sure how to do connect it to the existing functionality. I assume I have to modify the files that have the inserting stuff. Which files are these? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

if i understood you correctly,
then the best thing is to export your items from the web service to excel,
and then import the excel using the normal process of nop.
this way you don't need to change any file,
and i think it will be the easiest way.
