We have many products with the same main picture (ie. the thumbnail image that shows in category views).
It would definitely speed up the page load times if the website would not load the same image under different file names many times as it is now.
Is it possible to use the same image not wasting bandwidth by using the same internal image file name for several products ?
Tweaking the database image name column would do that, I think. But is there a more easy approach ?
Is the same image file is used when I copy a product ?
...a thought for improvement: A 'Use existing picture from product: ..........' field when entering a new product.
