I need to disable prices but still allow adding items to cart. (nop 3.0)

I notice that if I disable the prices, it also disables the ability to add the item to the cart.  I want to disable all of the prices and only inform customers of their total amount.  Is this possible out of the box?  If not, I can probably make the edits to do this, but I was wondering if this functionality was built in.

yeah, I know about that, but the problem is if you disable the prices then you also cannot add items to cart.  I need prices to be disabled but still allow adding the items to the cart.

How about just removing the "Checkout" button from the shopping cart page (and mini-shopping-cart, and mobile :)?
