Catalog menu option is missing in Administration v3.0 upgrade

Hello:

I upgraded from v2.80 to v3.0 as described in the documentation

- downloaded upgrade.sql script
- connected to database via MS SQL Server Management Studio
   - New inquiry and clicked the upgrade.sql download , Execute and it did it automatically
- removed NOP files from www.root folder
- installed (uploaded) v3.0 files (no source) previously downloaded and unpacked from .rar
- replaced App_Data\Settings.txt and App_Data\InstalledPlugins.txt from backup

the website opens right away and looks fine.

When I enter as Administrator the "Catalog" category is not there (between Dashboard and Sales)

???????

What did I do wrong here?

In v3.0 the ACL List for accessing catalog whas extended. Check that the administrator has the appropiate permissions
