I'm currently researching nopCommerce and am very much looking to use the system and also extend it during the development of a new site for a client.
The client has asked for the ability to not just set a % or $ value for a discount as this is applied to all products variants linked to that discount, but to have the ability to set a specific price for each of the product variants linked to the discount.
So I suppose my questions are:
1. Is this supported now? or can I leverage the current functionality to support this?
2. If I was to build this from scratch or extend the discount functionality as it stands then does anyone have any recommendations? Also if I was to build this as a plugin who's best in the community to speak to? I ask this as if I'm going to do this, I want to do it right and feed this back into the product potentially.
I have an approach in mind that should work but it would be good to bounce this off other suggestions.
