Updrade hosted site

Evidently I need an updated release of NOP.  I only want registered customer to see prices.  I want guests to be able to see products but no prices until they register and are approved customers.  What version supports these requirements?

I have just installed NOP on a GoDaddy hosted site.  It is version 1.9.

Is it possible to update this to a release that supports my requirements?

I don't care about any current settings or data.  I can start over.

I am afraid I know the answer.

I would do a fresh install of the latest nopcommerce version that is supported by your host.  (Check what .net version they are using).  This will be much easier than upgrading from 1.9 if you don't care about settings or data.
