Multiple Vendor Ideas

Greetings everyone! I am in the process of upgraded my NC installation to 3.10. I have been wanting to enable the multi-vendor options in the new version of nop, but was wanting some input of how others in the community are currently using it. My idea was to be able to sign up vendors to sell their products on my site, but wasn't sure about how to get paid by those vendors. Those of you that are doing this already, how are you getting paid from your vendors? Are you charging them a monthly fee, total based off of $ sold, etc? Thank you for your responses in advance.

Keep in mind that you actually have to pay the vendors.   You collect the payment from customers (e.g. it's your credit card / merchant account that gets the customer's payment).  You need to pay the vendor for product and for S&H.

Thank you for that information New York. Does anyone have a contract they use for Vendors to put products on their website that details what cut you get and that if they do not update the pricing it isn't your fault? I would be interesting in seeing it. I'm just trying to find the best way to go about this.
