How can I add downloadable product?

Go to admin area->site structure->all products-> click "Add new" button. Check "Is download" and "Is free shipping" checkboxes. Uncheck "Is ship enabled". Upload file via "Download file" upload control. Click "Add".

But remember that customers will be able to download purchased product only after order is captured (not authorized).
