This solution worked for me.  Deleted the old one and didn't need to restart.


Just realized that if you delete the old email account, all associated emails in the message queue will be deleted.

Solution is in the admin section, configuration - email account
dont use default credentials, set the property  -  Use default credentials - no , untick that.

then give the password manually.

you are all set.

this works with hosting myasp.net

Hi I'm trying to configure email from admin panel and put all the details correct like -
Email address  -  [email protected]
Host -  smtp.gmail.com
Port - 465
Password -*******
SSL - checked

but still getting below error, can you please someone help me out
