PDF Upload

Hello All,

I have setup nopCommerce  shopping cart. I have added product through the admin section.

I need add PDF file of that particular product. I saw this application but i could not found PDF Upload option.

I am new in this section. please help me where to upload pdf files and displaying near product image on home page.

Its very urgent.Please help me.

If you want to upload PDF file for specific products then you can upload that PDF on your hosting server.

Let's say you uploaded that PDF file on the root directory.

Now, Go to admin section >    Catalog   >   Products   >   Manage Products  

search your product > click EDIT

in the long description, create a hyperlink , name it as PDF file or Spec Sheet and link it with the url of that PDF file that you just uploaded on your server like this: <a href="www.yourstore.com/File.PDF">SpecSheet</a>

oK this is a old thread.

But should help

in the fckeditor, click on the hyperlink button.

now click browser server in the pop up.

click choose file to browse and select the pdf file to upload.

The resource type in the top left should be file type.

My requirement is like this..
Am looking for a feature to upload pdf file from the local system which will be saved in server(host) directory...and same can be allowed to download by users(customers) when they login and browse to see the category detail..

Is there any feature available for same in nopCommerce?

Yes you can define a pdf as a downladable product for a price o for free
