What is logic for getting/displaying recent products ?

Would be good to make new/featured products definable from admin.

Currently there is not an automated way of doing this.

Instead what you would need to do is run the Sales report within Administration to establish which were your top selling products. Then you would need to go through each product and tick the "Show on home page" property.

These would then display on your home page.
