Remove manufacturers list from home page

Is there a setting I can use to remove the manufacturers list from the left column of the home page?

Follow the next steps:
1. Open the following files \NopCommerceStore\MasterPages\ThreeColumn.master and \NopCommerceStore\MasterPages\TwoColumn.master
2. Find and delete the following code "<nopCommerce:ManufacturerNavigation ID="ctrlManufacturerNavigation" runat="server" />"
