Due to problems with my PC I have bought a new one and am in the process of getting it to where my old one was. My old one ran Vista my new one runs windows 7 64bit. On my old one I had a 1.50 site heavily modified and working a treat. I migrated the site to my new PC and I simply can not get it to run. I can navigate to the home page (default.asp) and some pages are fine such as "contact us", but others will not load. Including I can not navigate to the login page. So I decided to upgrade my site to 1.9, same result. I desided a fresh install of 1.90 might give some clues. It installs and configures fine and I can navigate to the home page but still no login. The current error is:-

"Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the <configuration>\<system.web>\<httpModules> section in the application configuration."

I have followed the instructions in the error text but get the exact same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am assuming nopCommerce 1.90 does run on windows 7 64bit??

I have found the cause of this problem for me. ASP.NET had not installed correctly due to missing registry key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ASP.NET_64\Performance. I found the solution here http://forums.iis.net/p/1174393/1970912.aspx plus a lot of other helpful info.
