I only tried gray and silver and copied them into themes under my web site root folder.
I saw them from setting drop down list after I restarted IIS. Both of them changed my front store page to text only page.
It didn't affect administration pages though

These are default themes with different background colors
These themes are working correctly. Unzipping downloaded file and put the extracted directories into Themes folder would do it. In a sense that they are free, I am thankful to the author(s) of these themes. But they are just classic nop theme with different background colors in case you wonder.

To ghoti : All the theme have been TESTED - Working perfectly fine.
If you don't know how to add new themes in your web project then that's a different case.
Since you mentioned "authors have suggestions on how to fix my issue, I welcome them."
If you can read properly then you should be able to see a link "ABOVE" where you ask for support / report bug / provide feedback.
Support can ONLY be provided if someone asks for help !!!

Just tested these
After loading these themes into my solution and running the site, all themes were selectable, but none of them worked. I was left with the raw text representation of the site.
abcde_1234: Maybe you should actually TRY something before you defend it.
If the themes' authors have suggestions on how to fix my issue, I welcome them. Until then, the files have been deleted.

First of all I would like to remind YOU (nordic) about the usage of your language. I think you didn't read carefully on the nopCommerce forums "Remember that this discussion board (along with this section) is your place, so treat it and other community members with respect."
The usage of your language reflects what kind of person YOU are in real life.
Here, we all community members try to help each other by solving everyone's problem(s).
By usage of your language it seems like you are that kind of person who is happy to download something for FREE but when it doesn't do everything you want, you throw your toys out.
If you don't like something then "just don't use it". It doesn't mean that if something is NOT useful to you will not be useful to others too.
There are a lot of people out there who don't have any knowledge about css style sheet or .net. For them, even simple themes (like this) means a lot - which can give their online store a new fresh look n color.
If YOU can't contribute or appreciate anything to the community for free, ATLEAST DON'T make judgement about anyone's work in a negative way because somebody spent his time on this to help other people.
Once again I would like to remind you - "Remember that this discussion board (along with this section) is your place, so treat it and other community members with respect."
