Just go to your nopCommerce admin area and check "Current shopping carts" section. Are you excited? Want all the items to be converted into sales? Abandoned Cart Recovery plugin will help you with it!

Customers often abandon their carts for a various of reasons: complicated checkout process, website timed out, not enough time to complete a checkout etc. Abandoned Cart Recovery tool can send e-mail reminders about it. Just configure the interval and some other settings and you are ready to return customers!

There is a free demo version available with only one restriction - up to 10 messages can be sent.

  1. Example 1:

    Settings:
    Start send after X days abandoned = 1
    End send after X days abandoned = 20
    Interval (days) = 7
    Allow newsletter subscribed users only = false
    Behaviour:
    March 1. Customer adds a product to the cart and lefts the store.
    March 2. Customer receives an e-mail to check his shopping cart. There are some not purchased items. Customer does not take any action.
    March 9. Customer receives one more e-mail about abandoned cart. Customer looks at his cart and buys some products.
    System stops to send e-mail to the customer about last abandoned cart items.
  2. Example 2:

    Settings:
    Start send after X days abandoned = 2
    End send after X days abandoned = 10
    Interval (days) = 5
    Allow newsletter subscribed users only = false
    Behaviour:
    March 1. Customer adds a product to the cart and lefts the store.
    March 3. Customer receives an e-mail to check his shopping cart. There are some not purchased items. Customer does not take any action.
    March 8. Customer receives one more e-mail about abandoned cart. Customer does not take any action again.
    March 11. System stops tracking customer's cart and stops sending e-mails to him.
  3. Example 3 (unsubscribe):

    Settings:
    Start send after X days abandoned = 1
    End send after X days abandoned = 30
    Interval (days) = 7
    Allow newsletter subscribed users only = true
    Behaviour:
    March 1. Customer adds a product to the cart and lefts the store.
    March 2. Customer receives an e-mail to check his shopping cart. There are some not purchased items. Customer press "Unsubscribe". System stops sending e-mails to the customer as well as stops tracking any new shopping cart item added to the cart.
