We have been working a lot over the last months and now we are proud to announce that nopCommerce is finally moved to ASP.NET Core.
ASP.NET Core is not a continuation of ASP.NET 4.6. It is a redesigned ASP.NET, brand new, cross-platform, high-performance and open-source framework.
Community means a lot for an open source project. All these 9 years nopCommerce users from all over the world contribute to the platform different ways: answering forum questions, translating documentation, contributing the source code etc. Several years ago we started to choose MVPs - the most valuable persons, community leaders who share a passion, technical expertise, and knowledge with others, and who represent the spirit of the community. But it’s not enough to praise their contribution.

This year the conference will be held in New York, The USA in November. There will be 2 days full of thrilling developers talks, case studies from nopCommerce store managers, networking and having fun. All the things are arranged, and we can’t wait to pack our bags and going to the airport.
Our annual conference, nopCommerce Days 2017 is getting closer and we want to uncover some facts about the first day of the event. On the 16th of November 2017, nopCommerce Days kicks off in New York, the USA for a very first time.
This day focus will be on the platform and the community present and future. There will a mix of speeches for every nopСommerce user: from development agencies owners and different levels developers to store managers, both theory-and-practice-oriented. On the first day you’ll find sessions dedicated to the business success, showcasing inspiring nopCommerce case stories. Don’t forget about networking during the day, it’s a good chance to meet the right people for partnering and just have a nice small talk.

We are glad to announce a new official version of nopCommerce.
In nopCommerce 3.90, we focused on widening nopCommerce marketing and content management functionality for such features like reward points (loyalty program), discounts, tier prices, product reviews and others. In this version, we also continue simplifying and redesigning the admin area in terms of UI and UX standards. Some significant improvements in performance optimization were done as well.
