Hi, what is the easiest way to make a custom homepage? I didnt see anyway in the administration. I currently use bv commerce for 4 of our websites and there admin makes it very simple to build all these pages. Our websites are than incorporated into Stoneedge Order Processor.

But most important, where do I make a custom homepage.

Until we implement CMS features you have to edit Default.aspx using VS.

We are doing that currently. Just wanted to make sure we didn't miss anything. Thanks

Hi, I am being told regarding the homepage:

Just looked at the view source code for this cart - not good. Its completely laid out in TABLES instead of DIV

Makes it much mor edifficult to control Design, and its not neasrly as SEO friendly.

Is this true or are we missing something?

Are you using the latest version (1.10). Prior to that it was using tables. Now using CSS mostly (think there are still some tables used).

I am working on a new design at the moment which will be 100% CSS and I will be posting it on here (in about 2 weeks).

We are using latest version. We will have our homepage completed by the end of the day. We use DIV and CSS completely.  Just wanted to see if we were overlooking something. Thanks

This is how far I have got with the theme. Other than adding the new theme folder, you do need to replace the master page as the my new one will remove the tables and replace with div containers. Let me know what you think:

I have only done the master page at the moment so all other content templates are the same as default.
