Would you be able to give a very brief description of the purpose for all the conversion label options you have on the Configure page and how it all works?
For example:
List of product ids and conversion labels
List of categories ids and conversion labels
List of controllers/actions and conversion labels
Very much appreciated!
Thanks!
ThreadrockHello,
When you configure adwords, you can define many conversion pages. The more popular is order conversion, but it could also be contact request, or acecss to a specific product, or category, or any page.
The conversion script is also used for adwords remarketing exactly in the same way.
All of these scripts are using the same value of google_conversion_id, the difference between them is on google_conversion_label value.
That is the reason why advanced parameters allow you to configure product ids AND conversion labels.
Example : you define a conversion on the product 15, because it's a new product ,or because you want to enable remarketing on this one. Google gives you a script including the conversion label 123laBel123. So you can configure the plugin like this :
List of product ids and conversion labels : 15:123laBel123
Another sample : You define conversion each time customer opens contactus page. Google gives you the conversion label 999laBel999. You can configure the plugin like this :
List of controllers/actions and conversion labels : contactus:999laBel999
I'm not sure it's clear, my english is not perfect... if you want to improve this text I will include it in the codeplex documentation.
regards
Nicolas
