no install folder found, v2.5

I tried on local desktop and hosted server and same problem. It looks for an "install" folder and there is none.

Server Error in '/nopCommerce_2.50_NoSource' Application.

Are you trying to install the nopCommerce 2.50 version for the first time on your desktop ?

You may find install foder under View directory i.e. \nopCommerce 2.x\view\install

Yes, I am trying to install v2.5 for the first time on a hosted server, or desktop and then move the files to the hosted server, either way.

There is nothing in the /View/Install that runs either.

Do you have MVC 3 installed locally? Does your host have MVC 3 setup on their server?

Thanks 'darocker22'. MVC3 was not configured properly. When I created the new site I selected ASP.NET 4.0 and I should have selected ASP.NET 4.0 (integrated pipeline). And because all the MVC3 DLLs are already provided with the nopC download in the Bin folder it works now.
